Introduction
This guide will help you go from signup to your first live campaign using SalesTarget's real workflow: Lead Explorer → Email + LinkedIn Outreach → Dialer → CRM → Analytics.
Every step connects to the next — so by the time you're calling warm leads and moving deals, everything is already linked and logged automatically.
Step 1: Create Your Account & Organization
Sign up and verify your email. Then set your company name, industry, timezone, and working hours. Optionally invite team members and assign roles (Owner, Admin, Editor, Viewer).
Setting working hours ensures campaigns run only during your business hours — so prospects receive messages at the right time.
Step 2: Connect Your Outreach Channels
Connect Email Accounts
Go to Settings → Email Accounts and connect via Google/Outlook (OAuth) or SMTP/IMAP. Before sending: set daily limits (start with 20–50/day), enable inbox warm-up, and ensure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are configured.
SalesTarget automatically rotates inboxes, monitors account health, and protects deliverability.
Connect LinkedIn Account
Go to LinkedIn Automation → Connect Account. SalesTarget assigns a residential proxy automatically, applies LinkedIn-safe limits, enables warm-up mode, and simulates human behavior with random gaps and breaks. Set your working days, hours, and daily action limits to allow safe automation.
Step 3: Find & Enrich Leads with Lead Explorer
Open Lead Explorer and search using AI search or advanced filters:
- Business filters: Industry, company size, revenue, location, Tech Stacks, Intent Topics (Bombora), business signals
- People filters: Job title, seniority, department, location
- Has Email and Phone Number toggles — check availability before spending credits
Select leads and click Enrichments to unlock verified contact data, company firmographics, tech stack, and intent signals in one click. All emails are verified at the point of enrichment. Then send leads directly to a campaign or save them to CRM.
Step 4: Create Your First Campaign
Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign. Choose an Email campaign, LinkedIn campaign, or Multi-channel (Email + LinkedIn). Name your campaign clearly (e.g., “SaaS Founders – US”).
Step 5: Build Your Sequence
Example multi-channel sequence:
- Day 0 → Email
- Day 1 → LinkedIn profile visit
- Day 2 → LinkedIn connection request
- Day 5 → Email follow-up
- Day 7 → LinkedIn message
Configure delays, conditions (if accepted, if replied), working hours, and action limits. SalesTarget automatically schedules actions using timezone awareness, capacity-based distribution, and randomized timing.
Step 6: Write Messages with AI Copilot
Use AI Copilot to generate cold emails, create LinkedIn messages, write follow-ups, and suggest subject lines. AI uses the prospect's profile, company data, and job role to personalize each message.
You can edit everything before sending. Fallback templates are used if AI output is unavailable.
Step 7: Validate & Prepare Before Launch
Before launching, confirm: email addresses are validated, inbox warm-up is active, LinkedIn limits are reviewed, sequence logic is checked, and unsubscribe footer is included. This protects your domain reputation and LinkedIn account safety.
Steps 8–12: Launch, Manage Replies, Move Deals & Call Warm Leads
Step 8 — Launch Campaign
Click Start Campaign. SalesTarget distributes leads, respects daily limits, sends only during working hours, and pauses follow-ups when a lead replies. You don't need to manually send anything.
Step 9 — Manage Replies in Unified Inbox
Open the Unibox to reply to emails and LinkedIn messages. See full conversation history, auto-categorized replies (positive, negative, out of office), and hot leads highlighted automatically.
Step 10 — Move Leads into CRM
From Unibox or Campaign, mark a lead as Interested, create a deal, add notes, schedule meetings, and track pipeline stages. All activity — email, LinkedIn, calls — stays linked to the lead.
Step 11 — Call Warm Leads with the Dialer
Once a lead is in the CRM, call them directly from their profile. Enter the phone number and call from your browser. Every call is auto-logged with a recording, notes, and transcript.
Step 12 — Monitor Performance
Track open rates, reply rates, connection acceptance, call activity, and campaign progress. Use analytics to improve sequences, adjust ICP, and scale volume safely.
Best Practices for New Users
- Start with 50–100 leads — quality over volume
- Use the Has Email and Phone Number toggles before spending enrichment credits
- Use short, personalized messages — cold emails under 120 words
- Combine Email + LinkedIn steps in one sequence for more touchpoints
- Always warm up accounts before scaling
- Use the Dialer to follow up on warm leads after email and LinkedIn engagement
- Increase volume gradually

How do I connect my email account?
Go to Settings → Email Accounts and connect via Google/Outlook (OAuth) or SMTP/IMAP. Set daily limits, enable warm-up, and make sure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC are configured before sending.
Is LinkedIn automation safe?
Yes. SalesTarget assigns a residential proxy automatically, applies LinkedIn-safe limits, and simulates human behavior with random gaps — so your account stays protected while you automate outreach.
Can I combine Email and LinkedIn in one campaign?
Yes. Choose “Multi-channel” when creating a campaign, then add email and LinkedIn steps in any order with custom delays and conditions.
